My Dream Teacher helps musicians live their dreams. We get music students, parents, and teachers working together to achieve the best results.

At My Dream Teacher, we help musicians live their dreams. Though this mantra inspires many to action, achieving one’s dreams is not as easy as it sounds. We know that the success team consists of the student, the parents, and the music teacher working together to churn out the best results possible.

When these three members of the Success Team collaborate, something truly magical happens: they start to actualize their true destiny.

To facilitate this process, we have designed resources on our website to educate, motivate and inspire each team member to perform at their peak. Our blog informs each member on important topics. Our products help each member take their job one step further.

Having achieved so many of her own dreams, Mimi West has devoted her career to paying it forward to the rising generation of musicians. She began teaching private violin lessons ten years ago and has instructed dozens of students in violin, piano, and voice over the past decade.

Knowing the power that music teachers have to help their students live their dreams, West became known for learning each of her student’s desires and planning each lesson around his or her personal goals.

As a classical performer, West regularly appears in operas, recitals, musical theater productions, and other music events. She has traveled the world and had the chance to entertain audiences on four continents (North and South America, Europe and Australia). She is set to make her Asian debut in 2014. West speaks fluent Spanish, and has the familiarity with French, German, and Italian that befits an opera singer.

Ms. West was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Carrie Pipperidge in Utah Repertory Theater's production of Carousel. Prior to that she garnered praise as Lady Caroline Dester in Utah Lyric Opera’s Enchanted April. Other recent stage credits include Mother (Gertrude) in Hansel and Gretel, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Miss Silverpeal in The Impresario, and Blanche Ingram in Jane Eyre. Mimi West has performed with numerous companies, including Spotlight Productions, Taconic Opera and Pro Arte in the greater New York area. In addition to singing at several minor league and college-level sporting events, she has had the privilege of performing in Madison Square Garden, Shea Stadium, and Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Ms. West is an active volunteer in several nonprofit groups and she currently serves as choir and general music director in her local church. While pursuing her Bachelors of Music Performance at Brigham Young University, she received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Nancy Peery Marriott endowment. She lives in Utah with her husband and irresistibly charming twin sons.

Music Master Plan aims to help students achieve their dreams. This is a lofty goal, and one which takes the active cooperation of the parents as well as the child’s music teachers. The road to living your dreams can be long and complicated, and Music Master Plan teaches you how to get there.

Music Master Plan is an online software program. Think of it as your personal treasure map to help you navigate through hard times and get to success.

Parents are the most important members of the success team, but they can’t do it alone. Excellent music teachers are important to the student’s continued success. Even so, the task of educating a child is huge and daunting. Music Master Plan is a much-needed supplement and survival toolkit for any and every serious music student. You may already have the tools you need to succeed. We will teach you how to use them. If you don’t have them yet, we’ll help you get them.
